Because our Home is our Haven

If there is one thing that i absolutely adore about my house it would be how itsy bitsy it is! I know that sounds crazy but here are my reasons of adoration
1- It certainly isn't even close to being large enough to get frightened in.(i'm terribly scared of bad guys :/ )
2- Heaven knows i'm not a cleaner.  Once i'm done cleaning the three rooms we have I'M DONE. haha.
3- It keeps Jordan and I close. (: When we do things, we do them together.  There is no family room with a tv to run and escape to when i turn to a grump.       There is no office to run to, to stay glued on a computer screen all day.  There is our room, our kitchen and our bathroom. And for us, that is plenty(: ohh. and my favorite. our balcony: )
I have decided to share our mini place, enjoyy:

Here is our kitchen:

This is a view of our entire kitchen, minus our stove which is hiding to the left of the counter(:
This is a close up of my old fashioned sink and our counter.  Yes, that is all the counter space in the whole place.
lucky mee(:
This is my secret compartment that I have yet to use....... Its very nifty.

wait for it..

wait for it..

okay you can stop waitin TADA!!
Its my trusty little built in ironing bored.. haha exciting  i  know.

And this my friends, is my lovely little snow shack of a fridge.
The whole inside of the back freezes and turns to snow. No worries.
We always have a little slice of winter here...

Oh. were you wondering where my freezer is?
its inside. And its about 8 inches tall and a foot and a half wide.
Let me tell you about how much i CAN'T fit in it.
but that's okay.
because i love it. ANNNDDD its the first fridge i am taller then, and that my friends is an accomplishment that i consider
note worthy.

Off to the bathroom we go (:

Thats all there is to it folks.  Jordan's mom jokes about how you have to step over the toilet to get in the shower.
and its true..

Here comes our bedroom and balcony, ( :

This is our dresser.  And only chair in the house. yess.(:

Oh my beautiful balcony.  My sissy Josie asked me if the porch was white or brown originally . . . .
we decided on both. Due to all the pain spattering's on it, you really couldn't tell.

See that BYU scentsy?? I cannot tell you how long I have wanted it
& thanks to my momma i have it! it is my absolute favorite thing in my itty bitty lovely home(:

and that quilt? I cannot even begin to tell you how talented my aunt ann is.  I LOVE IT.
I have wanted a quilt from her in the longest of time. And i have one..
(: checkin that baby off the list.

and my bed.  It is big. It is Comfy. And it is on the floor.. No bad guys under there ehh? yeahh(:
On a side note. I'm a pro bed maker. if you couldnt tell by the picture haha..

My home is our haven.  I love it, and wouldn't change a thing about it.
Apartment B23A at the Covey, is mine and Mr. Larson's first home. And I will always love it.
It makes me beyond happy, I love living in the city, I love my new life(:

Exciting News

Early this morning Jordan and I had a visitor.  Usually we are pretty weary of whoever comes to our door due to our lovely encounters with the crazy woman who lives below us.  Who to our relief, has to be out in 3 days!!! SOO excited for that.  As I was saying this visitor came and she just so happened to be from our new ward and was here to welcome us.  She was a cute little lady with and even cuter accent.  She then continued to tell us that there are many people with problems in the ward and alot of people here had problems with drugs.  So we didn't have to worry about judgement. I didn't think we looked scary enough to come of as druggies but ohh well what do ya do? haha.. As we kept on talking she told us that we had an apostle in our ward!! I was so excited when she said that so of course I asked who?? And it was none other the Elder Holland.  One of my favorites (: (: I am so excited to go to church next week for this reason alone..  I really do feel that the bishop was inspired to send in who he sent to greet us.  She was so sweet and considerate.  She didn't judge us that we hadn't been to church yet or that our apartment probably appeared a little bit a skew. She just welcomed us with big smiles.  Its the small things in life like this that show me the church is true.  The Lord knows what he is doing.  If  (no offense if this sounds rude) a pushier person or more judgmental person would have knocked on our door, we would probably hesitate going to church next Sunday.  I know that sounds awful and it would be wrongful of me to try to put the blame on them because it would be no ones fault but my own if we don't go next week.  But I'm not here to appear perfect just here to write my thoughts.  I truly do feel we were placed in the right ward for our current needs.  I love the life I live right now.  And I completely 100% adore my husband Jordan.  Aside from desperately needing a job I couldn't be happier with my situation. (:
